Yeah isn't that the truth! Diesel swap will cost $5k if you have to buy everything to do it. Joes will be cheaper because e already has a well sorted 6bt.

I'd love to do a diesel swap in my Burban but I can buy a long block for 2k ish and swap it in a weekend.

I keep telling myself it'd be cool to find an older suburban or similar and then just wait for someone to hit me and total out my silverado. Then swap the duramax into the burban or whatever, haha!

Started pulling the old engine out today, Didn't start till around 2:30 pm and ran out of daylight. Hope to have it out tomorrow AM and the new one all bolted in by end of day. Plan is to have it running in the truck by Sunday night (if all goes well). Monday i'm gonna piece together a free flowing dual exhaust system for it, then she should be ready to go.

Engine in, all hooked up, runs great

Working on the exhaust tomorrow. Will try to get some pics once it's all done.

Picked up the final parts for the exhaust earlier (Pipe, bends, etc), should be able to get 75% of it done today, but my mufflers won't show up until tomorrow
