Some of both, camping at Crozet is primitive.

Misty Mountain has camping with facilities.

Most stay at hotel this time of year.

I like Super8 in Waynesboro, VA, not far from Crozet, under 60 bucks including taxes, walk across the parking lot for dinner at the bar at T-Bone Jacks. (Ask Yeti, LOL)

Just wheeled Crozet last weekend and had a great time on low/mid blues, but really recommend skids. Might try to make this if I can fit in a Feb trip.

Now yall got me worried. Ive got a IFS Toyota with 33s, 4.88s, and a rear lock rite. Am I barking up the wrong tree? I dont mind bashing up my crap but I also dont need to break a bunch of crap when I have no business being out there. Dont get me wrong though, If it breaks, it breaks, it will give me an excuse to SAS it. But it is my DD and I hate driving the wifes pickup that says Brats Toy on the license plate.

I think it depends on the driver and knowing when to use a little restraint. There's always one more challenge at Crozet, and those can hurt if you don't know when to say when. On the other hand, I've wheeled there twice in a WJ (4 in lift, 31 in tires, no lockers but lots of skids), had a great time, proved a few things, done a little damage but drove it home each time.

Yes this is open to non members.

I'll update the first post with attendees, just reply with a firm yes or no.

I'm up for it too when do we need to pay?

The day of the event?

I'll get some tow hooks. I just remember I pulled some off my truck that might work.

If not, I'll swing by the shop and get the ones Jeepnuts mentioned.

Skid plates, I'll have to look into for that.

you will be fine. there are lots of things to try and you can go around stuff you dont want to do most of the time.

I have a 92 toy. with duals, and 32's , last time iwas there it was stock with 32's, granted i didnt run a lot of the harder stuff. but it was still fun and i just got away with a dent in the bed.
