We are not going to be able to make the ride. Can't get the brakes to work, ignition stuck on...just going to stay home and work on it so we will be 100 percent next time.

Anyone from the Fredericksburg area going? I need to have a hitch dropped off at Iron Pig Offroad if someone local wouldn't mind doing me the favor.

I wish, they have done some work to my truck and it was top notch. I have their skidplate and they fabbed up a rear shock mount for me after I broke a rusty bolt inside the old one.
I gave away a hitch for an 80 series land cruiser and one of their clients wants it. He lives in the Fredericksburg area and I live in Germantown MD so we don't cross paths often. |

IPOR is off rt2 by the train tracks,
Coming off 3 follow past the fairgrounds. Go through the fairgrounds light, at the next light make a left, take the first left follow to the second set of warehouses on the left. Its a big brick one that has IPOR on it.

These guys did awesome, especially the guy in the silver 4runner. Top notch guys, thanks again for the pull up the rock. My jeep needs better tires and a few other goodies before tackling this again. The Land cruisers and four runner made me jealous. Everyone was great to meet and hang with. Keith, Chris and the others were very patient for newbies such as myself as spotters. I definitely want to do it again, once I score tires. We missed this guy how at least I did. I sure was hungry. I had snacks though.. maybe next time we can have a forum meet and greet while at the trail. Last edited by deltl1ks; 02-21-2009 at 08:43 PM. |

Thanks for a great day, Keith and Chris. Here are a few of my shots on photobucket, including my new Venezuelan friends in Yotas.

Thanks to all. We all had a great time even that we drove 3 hours to get an hour of wheelin in. Its been 2 years since Ive been able to go so the hour was well worth it. We ended up going to our hotel in Waynesboro and getting lunch and we found a go-cart track in the city and we had a blast there. It was awesome to get out of Newport News for awhile.
