Sounds like a plan. I might be able to get the wife to take off and we will make a family event out of it. Does it cost anything?

Do you have to have tow hooks for the moderate trails?

Once I find those darn jeep keys I'm heading out to see das beef.

Highly recommended. Else if you get hung up you might get strapped by something you don't want.
What tow hook do you need? I got two YJ front ones sitting in my garage that i'm not using right now.

Blair, the light blues you can do unarmored there. Think it's trail 1 & 3. And slip and slide (don't know it's trail number. Though I would recommend a engine skid at minimum. Just make sure you have a good spotter.

Willing to ride shottie if someone wants to go for the day.

Be advised, I'm mean, NASTY, and tired. I eat concertina wire and pee napalm. And I can put a round through a flea's ass at 200 meters. I smoke TNT and fart Nitro! So be advised that you are dealing with a very sick & opinionated Marine.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.If you can't eat it or hump it. Pee on it and walk away.

I hope to have the CJ done but if not I will bring out the Cherokee. Depending on if the Wife comes with I might have a couple extra seats.

I'll check the tow hook situation on mine this weekend and get back to you.

Hmmm, I don't have a engine skid plate either.

I might come. I'd like to check out Crozet. Do most people camp out even in February or do most hit up a local motel?
