Brock (youngbreed) is leading the Flagpole crew to start cleaning up there in the morning. Didn't make much since to bring the group down the mountain only to send him back up to clean it.

Hey all, my name is Dave and I'm the founder and one of the admins of The Virginia Off Road Club (VA4x4). Just wanted to thank you guys for getting this together and working to help keep the GWNF trails open. We'll have some good representation there from VA4x4 as you've already heard. I look forward to meeting some of you and having a good day out on the trails cleaning up the junk. I'll be up at Flagpole with the camping group Friday night.

Sounds good. We'll get up, eat something real quick then head up. I would say around 9:30? Would that work for ya'll? It doesn't matter to me, I do not want to hold anyone up.

You guys are going to have to help me out - I am from an hour away, not familiar with where the Food Lion parking lot is. Please advise a physical street address so I can MapQuest it.

It's a straight shot west to the GWNF, about 12 miles, right? If so, and we convoy there, be advised my Kaiser-Jeep doesn't go 70 mph like your little jeeps do. 45-50 is about all on a 2-lane road, just tell me where to go, and I'll bring up the rear.

Here's a google map of it.

Don't sweat not going fast. Most of the Road between the trail heads and the parking lots is about 45-55mph. We won't leave ya behind.

ccannon222 , dont worry you wont be holding anyone up.This is not an event that is being timed .Its not a single purpose event for myself.Clean up some idiots mess , good camping and conversation with others who have the same interest , RELAX , enjoy the great outdoors , and spend time with my son or sons. Also hopfully see 1 of the most beautifull sunsets on the east coast short of a Hattris sunset over the sound.
