Hey its no problem, I haven't even worked on this thing in like 2 weeks.

Of course it seems I need to get a move on because the trail blazer is going away this week

I picked up a fender and hood a little bit ago, but its just been too damn hot to mess with them. Which is also the reason for not working on the truck at all, haha.

So yea, they don't make shit for gauge pods for my truck except a pillar pod, which I hate.

so I 'found' this piece of 'material' to make a panel that fit in the stock information center

So this 'material' looks like farbon for some reason. hmmm, now where did he 'find' that you ask.

The hood off my del Sol. I couldn't give this damn thing away and its been in the shed for years. lol.

Looking good, need to trim the bottom down a bit still though.

and I forgot to take a bunch of pics, so here are the almost finished pics. I still need to add the lights that replace the factory info center. (wait to start, abs, etc.)

I'll have to pick up some polish/cleaner and see if I can clean up the farbon some. There isn't that much showing once its in the dash so meh.

Lights are in. I only needed 5 lights total, but it didn't look right without the rest of the lights. I'll use them for something someday, haha.

The 5 lights needed btw were
Wait to Start (green)
Water in Fuel (red)
Low Fuel (yellow)
ABS (yellow)
Brake (red)

Only thing left to do is wire everything up.

So I am debating what to do with the front bumper. Easy route would be find a stock one and just throw that back on. The cleaner route since I want do go with a rear roll pan would be run one in the front also. Well they don't make a front roll pan for this truck, so it would be custom.

So, body matched stock style bumper (looking for a pic that isn't black and white)

Here is a truck with a body matched front bumper and a roll pan. It doesn't seem to look 'right' though with the factory style bumper up front but not out back

Or custom roll-pan (I wouldn't have it all molded together though)

Do you plan to label those lights? It would suck for someone to move or pick your truck up and not know what they mean and have some repairs to do afterwards.

Looks good. Still trying to find those damn caps...

My vote is for clean painted stock bumper....I think that'd look better, and fit more in to the "tow rig" theme.

Well there isn't exactly a lot of room around the lights to label anything. Once I get it screwed to the dash panel I'll see if I can figure something out.

I'll have to tape some directions for driving my truck to the visor. like so:

Wait till the top left green light goes out to start.

Red lights = call me and ask first

Yellow lights = get fuel or abs/ignore it lol

Finally got a good side pic with the h2's

They rub the swaybar at full lock and it sounded like a little rubbing on something when hitting bumps with the wheels turned as well.
